Hey y’all! I always feel like I’m channeling Britney eating Cheetos while walking barefoot out of a public restroom whenever I say “y’all” now.
Anyway… I promised that TreeTruckie.com would see more action lately, and I’ve failed miserably. Part of that is because WordPress, the software that powers TreeTruckie.com’s awesomeness, has been awaiting an upgrade. The 3.0 upgrade is out, and now it’s just a matter of me making some decisions about how best to implement it.
Rather than just update the software, I’m working on some new...

I’m on the train on my way to my last night of class at DePaul. It’s been a fun three years. I’ve met a lot of great people who I’m excited to call my peers, my colleagues and my friends. Goodbye, DePaul.
I hope to collect and post some fun pictures from the End of Quarter/Year Drink-Up.
UPDATE: By “on my way to” I meant running very, very late for. Final presentation done. Where’s my cosmo?

I nearly missed this hysterical modified CTA’s “in case of emergency” sign. What if I hadn’t seen it and suddenly found myself on the train AND in the Chicago River?

I really love the new I-GO ad campaign that I first saw on the Red Line train the other night. It does a great job of showing the real reasons that real people are proud member customers.
Why do I-GO? Because $500 is way to much to pay for the Jeep I only drove a couple of hours a month.

This post is being composed and published from my iPad. I think it’s really cool being able to post these on the go.
I’m hoping the posting is great, ’cause I’d like to be able to choose between WordPress and Joomla! and have an on-the-go option for publishing regardless of which platform I choose.

See how I can update my site on the go? This post was made using the WordPress app on my new iPad.

This post is coming once again from my iPad, but this time I’m logged in as an editor. You can tell the difference because “Donnie” is an editor, but “TreeTruckie.com” is an admin. Sorry to my Facebook friends, but I’m experimenting with WordPress form my Content Management System class.

Photo of Stella & Ted of CBS's "How I Met Your Mother"
I meant to comment on this so long ago… but is Sarah Chauke going to wind up being The Mother in “How I Met Your Mother”, a show that continues to get better with age (like most things worth anything). She was fantastic, and I can only hope that she’s missing a yellow umbrella.
On another related subject, I called Barney + Robin when the season started. Knew it would happen, and so glad it...

Promotional photo for Lost
FYI — I don’t do spoiler alerts. Spoiler alerts are for sissies. If you don’t want to know what happened on TV, you should be reading the blog of a compulsive TV watcher. What kind of idiot are you? Huh? Why are you so stupid!?
So it’s a fucking game?! Is that what I’m to take from this past week’s episode of “Lost”? Really? A fucking game. Hmmmm. I bet all those purgatory theorists feel pretty fucking stupid right now.
It’s going to be interesting to see how the rest of this show plays out. They’ve certainly made this season...
